These 2 ladies work closely together to continue the family business started by their mother, Edith Ellen Beam. While both ladies began their careers in education, they both quickly obtained their administrative license shortly after the business was opened for operation.

Madylin G Hunt
Office Manager, Activity Director and Administrator-in-training
Now a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Madylin grew up in the facility and developed a passion for the elderly population early on in her life. She is currently working with NC DHHS and NCSLA to obtain her administrative licensure. Madylin handles the day to day operation of the facility at this time.
Wendy Dawson
Facility Manager
Wendy began working at Lakewood in January of 2016 following a long career with the Emergency Department at Atrium Lincoln, formally CMC Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC. Wendy handles the day to day healthcare needs of our residents to ensure they are receiving the healthcare they all deserve.

Tiffany Beam
Office Assistant and Beautician
Tiffany has worked part time at Lakewood for over 15 years. She works closely with the office staff for day-to-day needs and responsibilities, and also provides weekly services to the residents in our on-site beauty shop.
